In February we succeeded in raising funding from Staffordshire County Council (Closing the Gap Fund ) for a nine-month project to deliver a series of arts activities to children living in and around the Haregate estate in Leek, an area of high deprivation. more..

With the help of funding from Market Towns Initiative, in May 2004 Borderland Voices published the book of Polish reminiscence, 'A Long Way from Home'. The book was launched at Leek Library and followed by a celebratory evening organised by the local Polish community. more....
In June 2004 Borderland Voices achieved funding from Awards for All for this project. We planned a series of participatory workshops mainly at the John Hall Garden and at the Kniveden Garden on the outskirts of Leek.
